After eight years in the automotive industry, Claudia Crummenerl joined Capgemini Invent for its reputation in organizational transformation and change management. During her time at Capgemini Invent and based on increased client needs, Claudia founded and grew the Workforce and Organization practice, which designs the future digital organization built on sustainable principles and a new purpose, operating model, and skills.
Recognizing the importance of people in business transformation, Claudia works with clients to reinvent the employee experience through data and technology. She uses her expertise in the people perspective of digital to understand how leadership in the digital age is evolving, how talent and workforce productivity can be transformed through automation and AI, and how to effectively engage employees throughout the transformation process.
Her projects are largely international across the automotive and manufacturing sectors. These have included rolling out a new sales strategy to more than 28 markets, supporting a client’s transformation into an agile organization across key European regions, and driving change leadership and change capability for a global food processing organization.
Claudia’s competency areas include organization strategy and purpose, workforce transformation, employee experience and HR transformation, program leadership and data-driven program and change management. Claudia brings over 14 years of leadership experience in industry and consulting to each client engagement.
With Capgemini Invent’s strategic focus on sustainable transformation, Claudia focuses her thought leadership on how digital is transforming leadership, workforce, and organizations. She has co-authored the reputed German language “Change Management Study” in 2012, 2015, 2017 and 2019. Since 2017, Claudia is also a frequent contributor to the Capgemini Research Institute’s renowned studies and reports and is one of its global spokespeople.

For a global manufacturing company, Claudia, and her team, set-up a Transformation Office for the CEO and enabled the leadership, HR and change ambassadors in driving and dealing with change. The project was completely delivered remotely, and the team was bringing in innovative methods on how collaborate virtually in an effective way.
For a global captive finance organization, Claudia, and her team, set-up a holistic agile transformation program – from early pilots as part of a platform program, to scaled agile program and portfolio management towards. Claudia’s role was to support the top management in the transformation, adjusting behaviors in the agile leadership.
For an energy company with global/European focus, Claudia was responsible with her team for building a Digital Transformation Office, which included building digital skills, change management, digital KPIs and portfolio management.
For a global automotive company, Claudia was the project lead for change management of a global sales strategy rollout. Being responsible for the central change support, she focused on the integration of the different sub-projects and the development and iteration of a global implementation approach.
