"Find your purpose at work regardless of what is popular or what is easy. And when you have found it, give it your unwavering courage and every ounce of passion that you have."

Tell us about your role. What does a day in your life at Capgemini look like?

I am a Sector Leader for Insurance within I&D India and I also lead Healthcare Solutions. In this dual role, I have multi-faceted responsibilities that call for a sense of balance, creativity, business acumen and passion. In navigating through these, I am privileged to have a team that I can trust and immense support from my mentors.

What’s the best thing about working at Capgemini?

Capgemini’s ethos is unique and fundamentally inclusive. In a large organization like Capgemini, everyone can find a niche that best matches their interests and grow further in their profession. Each one of us here can have a unique career journey, stay relevant, pick up initiatives that matter to us and make an impact that truly drives a sense of fulfillment within us.

What makes you proud to work at Capgemini?

There are several things that make me proud at Capgemini and it is hard to pick one over the other. To me the biggest pride is to be part of this organization which is one of the world’s most ethical companies for the ninth consecutive year. Also, our consultative and transformational services that are routed into innovation, make me feel privileged to be a part of Capgemini.

How are you working towards the future you want?

My future to me, starts with a purpose and a calling that I can deeply associate myself with. I inherently know when I am near and far from that purpose. If we persevere and have the passion in us, we can get the future we want!

What advice would you give to someone joining Capgemini?

Our world has become extremely dynamic and hence my advice would be to think of long-term goals and ambitions that will need time and investment. It may mean giving away short-lived prospects for larger schema of things in our future.

What is your motto? What would you share with women who aspire to progress in career like yours?

Find your purpose at work regardless of what is popular or what is easy. And when you have found it, give it your unwavering courage and every ounce of passion that you have.
